My father enjoys to fish! When my brother and I were little, my Mom would prefer to take us out of the boat, however he would fish and my mother would sunbathe, however my brother and I would play with our toys in the cottage while listening to music, but the only downfall of these mornings on the boat was how sizzling it would get after a few hours… On the mornings with little to no cloud coverage, the heat would be unbearable.
My Mom tried to put a fan in the cottage to help cool it down on those sizzling mornings, however it did not help.
One day, he came house from a yard sale with a portable air conditioning for the boat. He was so gleeful to test his current air conditioning that he decided to take the boat out that night for a sunset cruise. He quickly put the portable A/C in the boat and loaded us into the truck. My friend and I were out on the water in under an hour. My friend and I went down our respected path and turned on the AC. The cool air quickly filled the cottage and my good friend and I knew our sweltering boat mornings were behind us. My friend and I used the portable A/C for multiple years before my Mom decided to sell the boat. He replaced his boat and it came with a built in air conditioning, so there was no need to keep the garage sale a/c, however i am glad my Mom found that a/c. It made my brother and I have a much more good boating experience as children.
