Every time I turn on the heater, I feel a burning smell. Is this normal?

I was sad at first when I perceived a burning smell after using my heating system for the second time.

The first time after replacement, everything was perfect plus new since it had been installed right before winter, and i did not imagine going through the frigid season separate from some form of acceptable heating, then however, once the frigid months flew by, my heating system took a rest as the A/C kicked in to help with the warm season that soon followed. However, as things usually are, the frigid season was fast with us again, plus it was time to use the heating system again, but on lighting it, I perceived a burning smell plus rapidly shut it off, thinking that I may have burned it with a combustible material trapped inside. I evaluated, plus there was nothing to worry about. I rapidly called my HVAC professional since this was concerning plus worrisome. It turns out that it is normal to feel this smell every time you light a heating system after a long time. The dust particle has settled inside the heating system that first burns before it continues with its heating process. It is nothing to worry about, as I later found out, my HVAC professional explained that the burning scents that should alarm me include burning electrical wires, rotten egg smell, plus metallic smells. These may indicate a severe issue that needs to be addressed rapidly. Other than that, a dust-burning smell that goes away in a few minutes should never worry you. It helps to understand what unusual smells mean to avoid panicking unnecessarily.
