I just love being a mom.
I don’t think I ever knew what true love was until I became a mom.
Raising children is certainly not an easy task, but it is worth every trouble it brings. My kids aren’t perfect, but they are mine, and I love getting to stay at home and spend so many wonderful moments with them. However, not every moment is wonderful and peaceful. I have a twenty year old, a fourteen year old, a ten year old, a seven year old, and a two year old. My youngest, Abby, is going through the terrible twos, and lately she hasn’t been in the best mood, which makes my life so much harder. To make matters even worse, I ordered a relatively expensive air conditioner for our house, and I broke it the same day I opened it. When the air conditioner arrived, I opened it and set it on the couch. I planned on putting it in the window right away, but I heard Abby crying, so I went to go check on her. As I walked away, the cord from the air conditioner caught on my shoe, and I pulled the entire unit onto the floor. A large chunk of plastic broke off the front of it. It took me a second to register what had just happened, and the baby was still crying, so I went and got her. Sadly, there was no way that I could fix the air conditioner, so I had to pack it back in the box and send it back to get a replacement. We ended up having to go another week without AC, and I was miserable. Thankfully, I was able to get the air conditioner replaced for free, but I still can’t believe what happened.
