My good friend and I entirely like our current condo on the eastern coast. My good friend and I entirely decided to move because of an amazing job offer for Kora. It has been entirely great to be able to live near the beach. My good friend and I practically live on the water. My good friend and I hadn’t had any problems with our current condo until last week. I walked over to the couch in the home office and realized that the floor was sopping wet. Because of the water, the laminate floor had started to swell and deform. At first, I couldn’t figure out where the water was coming from. I wiped up the water and told my sister about it. It only took her a seconds to figure out the cause of the water, and it was the a/c in the window. For some reason, it was dripping water like deranged onto the floor under it. One of our friends who lived only a couple miles away from us is an an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company, so my good friend and I called him and asked why it was leaking! He came over and was able to figure out what was wrong with the a/c, but Kora and I still had to tell our landlord about the ruined floor. Thankfully, he was entirely kind and said that he had some extra flooring and that he would replace it for us. It’s deranged how something as great as an a/c could do so much harm to our apartment.
