My fiance has been spoiling the dog like crazy recently and I just don’t know how to get him to stop it.
I think it’s because all of our kids have moved out of the house and he doesn’t have anyone else to take care of besides me.
It must be the whole empty nest syndrome that people talk about. I do not know what it is about this dog that fills all the needs that he has to spoil someone, however it is getting kind of silly if you ask me. He is consistently buying special steaks to eat, plus new clothes for the pet. When I told him that dogs do not even need clothes, he just looked at me with an absolutely mean look and I knew not to cross him. My fiance can be kind of mean sometimes, so I do not want to set him off. However, I am going to have to draw the line somewhere because now he is talking about putting a heating and cooling system inside of his dog’s home outside. The dog barely ever even goes outside because he is consistently sleeping on the couch. However, whenever he does go outside he is consistently upset that he might get too hot or too cold, and that’s why he has called up the local heating and air conditioning supplier to have them come out here to provide him an estimate on an heating and air conditioning system for the doghouse. But, putting a heating and air conditioning system in the doghouse sounds like the craziest thing that I have ever heard of. I cannot believe that he is even considering this, but he really is!
