My neighbor has been having so much trouble with her a/c device.
She’s a genuinely nice, sweet older woman that is regularly doing good things for the world.
So she was having trouble with her small a/c unit and could not afford to have it worked on, and so I felt like I had to help her a bit. This is especially true because I am a heating as well as cooling supplier technician, and I’ve been working in the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C sector for the better part of 17 years now. She knew I was something in the field, however I do not think she knew that I was a heating and a/c specialist with years of training. When I went over to her shack and knocked on her front door, I asked her if she was looking to have her a/c taken care of. She told me yes, so I said I’d be willing to repair her a/c device for free because she’s such a nice wonderful person. She seemed surprised and asked me if I was a cooling supplier owner, and I told her that I was and that I worked for a Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C outfit down the road. She was so excited when I offered to repair her a/c device, and she told me that the issue was that it was no longer producing any cool air. She would put her hand in front of the air vents, and only warm air was gushing out. She was genuinely nervous that this was something very serious, however I took a look at the cooling device and it was in great condition. All that it needed was some more freon in the system. Luckily, because I am a heating as well as AC supplier worker, I was able to get some, and as soon as I put some in her a/c system it was nice and cold once again. She was so full of glee when she felt the very cold air. Now she can relax and enjoy her home again without having to feel so darn hot all of the time.
