Owning a house means there’s many things to take care of each year.
Perhaps my least favorite is repairs and servicing different appliances. I’ve always desired to own a house, but I never knew how much work homeowners have to do. If it’s not one thing, it’s the other that needs immediate attention. Being a busy business person means I’m rarely at home and at times even travel. So, it’s not a surprise that I tend to find out the dishwasher is faulty or the hot water is out when I need it. The rest of the time no one is home to use these items and note an issue before it gets worse. About 2 years ago, I was taking a 2 week break to recover from an illness and stayed at home. During that time, I had to use the HVAC system to cool the house. At first, the HVAC unit was okay and the house felt wonderful. But a few days later, I started to notice there was less and less cool air blowing into the house. It had been some time since I had an expert come to inspect the HVAC unit. So, I figured it was time to do so since I was home and it’s not easy staying indoors in summer without air conditioning. I contacted an area HVAC unit and that’s when I met Diana. She has been a lifesaver and one of the best HVAC experts I have ever met. On our first meeting, she had to replace a run down and grimmy air filter. Now, she always gives me a call when it’s almost time to service the unit. That way, I don’t have to rely on a faulty system to keep my house comfortable.
