It’s not easy living alone far away from everything and pretty much everyone you love.
- That has been our reality for the past year or so.
I had to relocate to the other side of the country for labor a year ago. This meant moving away from an area where I knew almost pretty much everyone to one that every man was a stranger. And to make matters worse, I live in a house alone that I bought. It’s actually cheaper being a homeowner than renting a unit in this area. But, that means fewer occasions of having roommates. I’ve also been having a hard time because of the change in weather and temperature. I was used to the frosty and everything that came with living up north. But, here the sunshine is a big factor and I now realize I have drastic pollen dust sensitivities! My dust sensitivities weren’t as pronounced back home, so I never took the time to consider things enjoy indoor air conditions, however, our first Springtime in this area has been an eye opening experience. My doctor is actually the one who told myself and others it’s time to consider investing in a whole-condo air purification system. Such a unit can help improve and maintain fantastic indoor air conditions, especially in Springtime when the air outside is full of pollen. A whole condo purification idea isn’t cheap and will mean digging deep into our savings to purchase and install it. But, it’s better to see it as an investment that will bring myself and others better health and comfort in our home. I’m also thinking about upgrading the AC unit in this house to improve a/c during summer.
