Even better is getting out of the processed air of the office when the food truck arrives.
I was outside all afternoon today. It’s February as well and that’s what we do here. This is the time of the year when I like to be outside, when I can. While some people around the country stay inside with the gas furnace cranking, I’m enjoying the winter weather. In our region, in the winter it’s great to be outside. I’m a huge golfer, cyclist and hiker so winter is the time. To me, primetime when it comes to being outside is right in the middle of the day. This time of year is actually the only time of year that my friend and I can count on getting outside all day. Soon, the need for air conditioning will return. That will ultimately return me to a schedule that avoids being outside in the summer. I love eating dinner outside, too. Even better is getting out of the processed air of the office when the food truck arrives. That means a good day for me! Not only do I eat the yummy but fattening food truck food, but I camp out on a bench while I eat it. And those are the days that I tend to take a few more minutes in a bit more time outside before heading back inside to the circulated air. I’m soaking all of these moments up now. It won’t be much longer until I’ll be relegated to the air conditioning once again.
