An ultraviolet air quality system

A couple years ago, when everybody was still frantic about the pandemic, my favorite restaurant decided that they wanted to keep their doors open.

While other restaurants in the area resorted to pickup and delivery only, this restaurant wanted to keep people coming inside.

I understand why they would like to have patrons eat at the restaurant, because it made for a better experience. This restaurant had a lot of table side dinners, and if there were no patrons then that wouldn’t work. Well, in order to continue their business uninterrupted, they invested in a state-of-the-art ultraviolet HVAC system. They posted this information on all their social media pages so that their patrons could know. Based on what the restaurant said, this new HVAC system was able to kill the virus that was causing the frenzy. This means that the patrons could stay inside the restaurant knowing that the air that they were breathing was safe. At the time, I didn’t know much about the state-of-the-art ultraviolet HVAC system, and I could only believe that it was inspected and safe to use. I did visit the restaurant during that time, even though I opted to stand outside on the patio. It was during the wintertime and thankfully they had portable heating lamps to keep the space nice and comfortable. Since then, I have eaten inside the restaurant and although the pandemic is over, I do feel safe eating indoors knowing that the site has the state-of-the-art ultraviolet HVAC system installed. Who knows what other pathogens and viruses are floating around these days, so it is a lot better to be safe than sorry in this case.
