There are a lot of benefits to using an air filtration system, but one of the biggest reasons is to reduce allergens and airborne illnesses inside of the home.
There are a lot of allergens inside of the air including pet dander, dust mites, mold, pollen, and mildew. These pollutants can cause severe problems and allergies. At first we decided to get a small air purifier that was portable. The air purifier was placed on the dresser in my son’s room. We turned it on when he was sleeping, but we didn’t run it during the day. At night my son would sleep very well, but he would come home from school congested and stay that way until it was bedtime. We tried lots of different over the counter remedies and a couple of steroids that the doctor prescribed. Nothing seemed to help the asthma and allergy problems. We had to go to a specialist in the capital city. When his asthma symptoms still persisted, we had to run the air cleaning machine all day. My son had to start breathing treatments every day and that’s when we decided to upgrade our home with an indoor air cleaning system. The entire house has to be free of germs and indoor allergens in order for my son to breathe easily. The indoor air cleaning machine has a removable air filter and a UV light. We have to get the machine serviced every six months, but it works extremely well.
