Both of my boys played basketball for the school and they are both very good. I would not be surprised to find out that both of the boys end up with a scholarship to play basketball at a division 1 school. We had to go to a game that was on the other side of the state. It was an exhibition game and we did not get home until it was almost midnight. It was about 40° outside that night and it felt just as cold inside of the house. It wasn’t very pleasant and I knew there was a problem with the furnace as soon as we walked into the house. I told the boys to take a shower and I told them to grab a space heater from the hall closet. The boys were complaining about the temperatures and I knew they weren’t going to be happy with the cold air. I didn’t want them to go right to bed without taking a shower even if the furnace was broken. I contacted an emergency service provider as soon as I got the kids settled. The emergency service provider said it was going to cost an extra fee to come to the house in the middle of the night. I did not want to pay any extra fees when I could wait until the morning. I knew there was another space heater in the hall closet. I slept in the bedroom or the door closed and the space heater running on high. The boys and I made it through to the other side.
