I wasn’t sure if I wanted to be an Heating and Air Conditioning worker when I was growing up.
- My sibling was an Heating and Air Conditioning worker and he was hoping I would join him.
He thought my friend and I should open an Heating and Air Conditioning company and give the only one in our area some competition. I thought that was a fantastic idea, however I was still thinking I wanted to do something else. Mom was always taking me to beauty contests and parading me around. I was the picture of femininity and grace, however I was tired of it. I wanted to get a broken nail, see my clothing get dirty, or do something that wouldn’t please my mom. I knew being an Heating and Air Conditioning worker would be the perfect thing to do, however I wanted to want to be an Heating and Air Conditioning worker. In my graduation year of private school, mom was already planning for my university, and how to get me into the Miss America contests, and go further with the pageants. My pal and I were walking into the dress shop, when I stopped. I told her no more. I didn’t wanted to be a beauty queen. I wanted to be an Heating and Air Conditioning worker and own an Heating and Air Conditioning company with my sibling. She looked at me and told me that beautiful girls didn’t become Heating and Air Conditioning workers. I didn’t care what she thought. I had finally decided I wanted to be an Heating and Air Conditioning worker and nothing could change my mind. She told me she wouldn’t spend my money for it. I had plenty of money in the bank from all my pageant winnings, and I didn’t need her money. I was going to Heating and Air Conditioning school after private school graduation.
