My air conditioner runs all night in my room to cool me down even though it is quite cold out at night, because having a fever really makes me sweat a lot without any cool air in my room
I’ve tried to avoid shopping the past four days because I have been sick with the flu and don’t want to infect other people. I’ve stayed away from my flatmate for the most part and she seems to still be fine. I basically just stayed in my office all day and then went straight to bed early in the evening to try and rest as much as I can. I feel that rest is important because my body is really tired and it needs as much energy as it can get to beat this nasty thing in my body. Heating and cooling writing must go on though so I am chugging along each day on three cylinders and slowly getting my daily work done because falling behind on this HVAC system writing is really not good. If I miss two days of work then I will have a mountain to climb to try and catch up, so I just keep moving slowly through the work each day and somehow or another it gets finished. I can’t open my window in my bedroom though because the bar behind us gets so loud and stays that way till late in the morning hours of the nighttime. I should be cleaning my HEPA filter too because it has been a while since the HVAC tech came to do it last.
