When it was my first day of being a heating and cooling specialist I was really nervous.
This is exactly what I had been studying for this entire time and I had finally gotten to the final phase of where I wanted to be.
I had gotten them to school, passed all my tests, got my HVAC certification, passed the interview, and now landed the job. Since to everybody else I was still considered the new guy, I would be training with another more experienced heating and AC worker until I found my footing. This was no issue with me and the guy that I met today was very nice, his name was Jim, and we instantly had a connection. It didn’t take long before we became fast Friends. He was an excellent mentor and showed me all that I needed to know about the heating and AC job. I enjoyed going out on Heating and Cooling runs with him helping and assisting him with different people’s heating and air conditioning systems. He would lead and I would help him out. I know that in the near future the time will come I will be doing all heating and AC repairs on my own, and the thought of doing all the hack repairs on my own both excites me and makes me nervous. I can’t wait until I’m my own heating and AC technician, at the same time going into miss hanging out with Jim all the time
