I’ve never owned my own house before.
I recently graduated from college & between all my collegework & unpaid internships, I didn’t have enough currency to buy a house right away.
Instead, I’ve been living in a one study room house for the past 2 years, trying to save enough currency for a downpayment. My brother is a few years older than me though & he just purchased a home. It’s a great house in a charming location & the value of the house will only go up in the future. I helped transfer his things in & I’ve been going to his house for yearly dinners, then during our last dinner, I commented on how sizzling it felt inside. I asked his if he could adjust the temperature control settings down a few degrees, although he insisted that it would not do anything. I assumed he was deflecting the conversation, although he continued on to tell me that she’d tried increasing the temperature a few times & it didn’t help cool his house significantly, and even though I never owned a house before, I knew this wasn’t right. If you adjusted the temperature control, the temperature should change. My house wasn’t much smaller than his house & if I adjusted the temperature by a single degree I could tell a difference. I asked my brother if he was going to get his Heating plus Air Conditioning system maintained by a professional, although he hadn’t made an appointment yet, however before leaving his house that night, I gave his the phone number to a few local Heating plus Air Conditioning companies so he could have his Heating plus Air Conditioning system maintained before things got worse.
