Griffin wanted to move the television to the other side of the room, but there wasn’t an electrical outlet in that area.
He phoned his sister to see if she could help with that.
Griffin’s sister is a licensed electrical contractor. She works for a corporation in town, and helps Griffin out when he has problems in the house. Griffin bought an older lake house with more issues than he expected. Half the time the furnace does not work, and during the summer Griffin has problems with the central AC. When he wanted to move the tv around, his sister said it would not be a sizable deal at all. She could run some wiring from another outlet as well as set it quite easily, however the largest concern was getting to the electrical equipment behind the drywall. Griffin’s sister removed one substantial piece of drywall. The electrical wiring was further down the wall than she expected, so she had to remove another section of the wall. Most of the wall was off before Griffin’s sister completed the electrical project. She took all afternoon when she said it was going to take a short time. Griffin thought the lake house was going to be a mess for days, but it actually wasn’t that hard to put the drywall back up. He added some spackle and paint and it was strenuous to tell the wall had ever been removed. Now Griffin can move the television to either side of the room and that means more possibilities for seating in that room.
