During the fall pigskin kickoff party that the two of us hosted, our air conditioning unit stopped working altogether.
It was one of the busiest times that we have ever had at our beach house, as all the people that the two of us invited ended up coming over to the party.
They were all certainly excited for the chicken wings that my wife was cooking. I don’t remember us ever having so many people over at our beach house before, but it was a really fun group of people. Anyway, we were all certainly excited about the party and the two of us weren’t even thinking about the fact that we were going to have so many people in the beach house at once. I guess that if we had thought about it, we would have certainly made sure that the air conditioning was working well. However, we never dreamed that every single friend that we invited would show up for the party. Anyway, we tried to turn the air conditioning down so the beach house would start cooling down, because it got pretty hot inside with all of those people in there. Unluckily for us, the air conditioning wouldn’t turn on, and the longer the people stayed, the hotter and hotter it got inside of the house. I could not believe how hot it was, and opening the windows didn’t really help matters at all. The weather outside was unseasonably hot and that made the temperature in the beach house keep going up and up. I didn’t want all the people to be uncomfortable, however it was taxing not to get crabby in a sizzling hot beach house full of people. Next time, we will certainly check the A/C first.
