My A/C Unit Froze

If I could go back in time, I would go back to last month in addition to leave my A/C system alone, when I was convinced that the temperature was going to remain cool every morning, I turned off my A/C component in addition to turned on my boiler! I had been meaning to call the Heating and A/C company to come tune my Heating and A/C system before making the switch, but I forgot in addition to I was running the heat with the hopes that nothing would go wrong… Thankfully, nothing did go wrong with my boiler, so I decided to bypass the Heating and A/C tune up in addition to wait until the Spring! Just when I thought that the weather was going to remain cold, my pal and I experienced a few nights where the temperature spiked above 69 degrees.

  • It was sizzling in addition to the inside of my house was sizzling despite opening the doors in addition to windows.

Instead of sticking it out, I turned on my A/C component in addition to tried to cool my home. This is where things went wrong because only a few hours into running my A/C component again in addition to I noticed a giant amount of water around my condenser unit. When I took a closer look, I noticed that my coils were frozen, but the heat from the sun was causing them to melt. I called the Heating and A/C company instantly because I didn’t know the respected way to handle the frozen coils. The Heating and A/C professional told me that I’d set the temperature control too low, causing the coils to freeze instantly. I wish I would have left my A/C component alone!
