We did something crazy late last year, my neighbor and I. In the dead of winter, my friend and I purchased a house. Joel and I had always discussed getting a house or a house in a remote area. Our goal would be to secure a few acres of land in a desirable location. Joel and I shared a childhood where our parents enjoyed visiting these locations. Whether it was Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter didn’t matter to them. They pack up and travel somewhere lovely for a week or two once or twice a year. They claimed that getting away from the noise, crowds, and lights was essential for maintaining their mental health. As adults, Joel and I can now understand why they insisted on taking these trips, and so can my friend. And my friend and I wanted to make sure that other people had the same experience. My friend and I made the decision to look, and after some searching, we discovered the most stunning house that was for sale and fit within our price range. My friend and I then had to take care of the heating since we intended to stay there during the winter. My friend and I decided that the winter would be the best time to visit the cabin because Joel and I both work remotely. However, there was no way to remain alive in that region without normal heating. My friend and I got contacts for a heating and air conditioning company in a nearby town after asking around. When my friend and I called the heating expert to request their services, we hoped the house wasn’t too far away for them to travel. Fortunately, since my friend and I were in the company’s repair zones, they dispatched a heating specialist to assist us.
